Playa de San Juan is Alicante's premier beach district, a wide sandy strand backed by modern mid- and high-rise apartments, golf and a tram link to the centre. It is the city's prime holiday and second-home zone. It offers strong holiday-let and long-stay demand with new stock; the trade-off is seasonality and a more car/tram-dependent layout than the centre.
