About Hassan

Hassan is the dignified heart of the capital. The towering minaret of the Hassan Tower and the colonnaded plaza of the unfinished mosque anchor a district that holds many of Morocco's ministries and embassies, the downtown spine of Avenue Mohammed V, and the edge of the old medina. Everything sits within walking distance, from the souks to the river to the central gardens. Apartments here are older and more compact than in Hay Riad or Souissi, but the location and heritage are unmatched, and the Bouregreg waterfront regeneration is steadily lifting the area. For investors Hassan offers a liquid central rental market and steady appreciation; the cautions are aging stock, parking pressure and the cost of renovating heritage buildings.
